As You Like It
This winter, experience one of Shakespeare's best-loved high comedies in our signature style: an intimate ensemble of eleven actors, now with live music to enhance Shakespeare’s written word. As You Like It takes us deep into Rosalind's journey as she explores the stark contrast between the rigid, sterile world of the Court and the free, discoverable nature of the Forest of Arden.

Regina Renée Russell
Regina Renée Russell (s) is an actress and is very excited to switch gears to assistant directing this amazing production. Regina is a native resident of the Bronx and a proud graduate of Cornell University (B.A. Theatre Arts) and East 15 Acting School in London (M.F.A. Acting). Recent favorite roles include Elaine the Lady of Shallot (The Table Round and The Siege Perilous, Turn to Flesh Productions), Cora Freeman (Parlor Tricks, Fresh Fruit Festival), and Exeter (Henry V / Occupy: Harry, Occupy Verona). Many thanks to my family, my friends, and Josh for their undying support and love. You are my trampoline. @reggirenee
Michael Piatkowski (h) is a designer, director, writer (and more!) living in New York City. He started his long theatrical career at the age of 12 as Pinocchio at the Jan Hus Playhouse on the Upper East Side. He is excited to be making his first journey into Shakespeare's Forest of Arden with Match: Lit. Only in the theatre can we create magic on a stage for a live audience every night. Please enjoy!
Peter Hargarten (h) has been living and working in New York for 6 years as an Advanced Actor combatant with the SAFD. He performs weekly in the hit comedy show Batsu! down in the East Village as a comedy warrior. In addition to fight directing Match: Lit’s Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet, he’s done Richard III, Twelfth Night, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Stag & Lion Theater Co., as well as various other projects.
Mallory Strom (s) is thrilled to be working on her first Match: Lit production! Theater credits include Richard III and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hip to Hip Theatre), and The Laramie Project (Eugene Lang College), among others. As an artist, she works across various artistic and mathematical disciplines. Explore her work at mallorystrom.com.
