Mainstage Productions

Match: Lit came to life in October 2015 as an actor-focused company with an intent to highlight the relationships between Shakespeare's characters above all else. No new text is written; but characters are cut, combined, and reexamined to present the same classic canon to a new and current audience.

Under the watchful eye of Key Advisor Christopher Martin (Founding Artistic Director, Classic Stage Company), Match: Lit has produced five mainstage productions alongside numerous readings and other events. Through it all, our philosophy remains simple: that Shakespeare's stories are for everyone.
